Authorities have ordered the immediate evacuation of residents in the Sukth and Katund i Ri Administrative Units in the Municipality of Durrës, due to the situation aggravated by flooding and the direct danger to the life and health of citizens.
The evacuation will be carried out through coordination with the National Civil Protection Agency, the District Prefect and the Civil Emergency Structures in the municipality.
The announcement states that the Mayor is the authority responsible for ordering evacuation in the territory of the municipality.
Priority in the evacuation process is given to children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and families in isolated areas.
Meanwhile, transportation for the evacuation of residents will be provided by the Municipality's vehicles, the Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) and the Armed Forces.
