Even the cars of ordinary citizens were not spared from the barrage of bullets in the Rinas assassination attempt. Random
vehicles in the area were also damaged by the mafia attack that took place near the Rinas airport, where Gilmando Dani, Emiljano Shullazi's right-hand man, was killed and the AMP employee who was in the car, Muçi Shaljani, was seriously injured.
The perpetrators opened fire with a Kalashnikov rifle, shooting several times at the car the two victims were in. The bullets traveled around the perimeter, also hitting the vehicle of a citizen who was inside waiting for his mother who was returning from Spain, but fortunately without injuring her.
The shooting also damaged the facades of several businesses near the scene, adding to the fear and panic among residents of the area. Police are continuing their investigations to identify the perpetrators and fully uncover the motive for the attack that shook the Rinas area.
