Two brothers, Kristi and Aleksandër Bushgjoka, suspected of the murder of Renis Dobra, have been arrested in Tirana. According to the police, the brothers were surrounded in the Delijorgji complex at 6 am. RENEA forces also participated in the operation. Earlier, the police arrested their brother Fatjon Bushgjoka and Petrit Cakrin, the latter an eyewitness to the murder of Azem Hajdari on September 12, 1998.
Renis Dobra was taken hostage and then murdered. The killers tried to hide his body in Lake Shkopet, but during the chase, the young man's body came out and was found by the police.
Investigations show that Dobra was killed due to a clash between criminal groups involved in drug trafficking.

During the last 24 hours, another operation to capture citizens wanted internationally and nationally has been finalized by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force.
The police operation, codenamed "Operation 68", was conducted in cooperation with the RENEA Special Force.
The 2 brothers of one of the perpetrators of the murder by strangulation of citizen RD, on 08.07.2025, in Burrel, were arrested in Tirana and put in handcuffs.
The arrested, suspected accomplices in the kidnapping and hostage-taking of the RD citizen
In continuation of the work to locate, capture and arrest citizens declared wanted internationally and nationally, the services of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the DPSSh provided information on the location of 2 brothers declared wanted.
Based on this information, an operation codenamed “Operation 68” was organized and conducted in cooperation with the RENEA Special Forces to capture them. During the operation, the Police services arrested and detained the following citizens in an apartment in Tirana:
-KB, 29 years old and AB, 24 years old, brothers.
These citizens were declared wanted based on the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, as suspects for the criminal offense of "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage", committed in collaboration.
The investigations suspect that the 2 detainees, in collaboration with their brother, citizen FB, and citizen PH alias PC, 55 years old (arrested for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder", committed in collaboration, and "Kidnapping and Holding a Person Hostage"), kidnapped and held hostage citizen RD, 23 years old, whose dead body was found in Lake Ulza, Shkopet.
The 2 captured citizens were handed over to the Dibër Local Police Directorate for further action.
