The Kukës Police have successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Episode", arresting two people suspected of a serious criminal incident that occurred on September 5, 2025, in neighborhood no. 5 of the city.
According to the official announcement, at around 9:00 PM that night, during a conflict over weak motives, a gun was fired at citizen HA, without causing any injuries.
After intensive investigations, the suspected perpetrator, Frank Dida, 47 years old, a resident of the village of Pobreg, with a criminal record for illegal possession of weapons, was arrested. He is charged with “Attempted Murder” and “Unauthorized Possession of Weapons and Ammunition.”
As part of the same operation, his nephew, Sami Jeminaj, 23 years old, resident of Kukës, was also detained, and is accused of "Failure to report a crime", as he is suspected of being present during the event and not informing the authorities.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Kukës, for further action.
