US President Donald Trump has once again stated that countries that are supplied with oil through the Strait of Hormuz must ensure the security of this strategic sea route.
In a post on the social network Truth Social, Trump said that "countries around the world that get oil through the Strait of Hormuz need to take care of that passage, and we will help - a lot!"
He added that the US will coordinate with these countries to ensure that circulation continues quickly and without hindrance.
"This should have always been a joint effort, and now it will be - bringing the world closer to harmony, security and lasting peace," Trump wrote.
