US President Donald Trump said that many countries, especially those affected by Iran's attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, will send warships in cooperation with the US to keep the sea route open and safe.
In a post on Truth Social, he claimed that the US has already “destroyed 100% of Iran’s military capabilities,” but warned that Tehran could still send drones, lay mines, or launch short-range missiles along the sea route.
He expressed hope that China, France, Japan, South Korea, Britain and other countries affected by the shipping restrictions will send ships to the region.
In the same post, he said that the US will continue to bomb coastal areas and sink Iranian ships, adding that one way or another, the Strait of Hormuz will soon open and be "open, safe and free."
