Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned the United Arab Emirates that American facilities on its territory are "legitimate targets," following the US attack on the Iranian island of Kharg.
In a statement published by the semi-official Iranian Tasnim news agency, the IRGC said it has the right to defend Iran's sovereignty and territory by striking ports, docks and places where American soldiers are sheltered in several Emirati cities.
Iranian authorities also called on Emirati residents to leave American ports, docks and military areas to avoid the risk of possible attacks.
