At least 14 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes in various parts of the Gaza Strip, with more than half of the victims killed in an attack that hit a funeral procession in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to Al Jazeera, eight people were killed and about 20 others were injured after an Israeli drone struck a group of people gathered near the Ahmad Yassin mosque as they prepared to escort to the final resting place of a Palestinian killed earlier in the day in another Israeli attack.
The Israeli military confirmed it had carried out the strike, saying it targeted a "terrorist cell" in central Gaza. It added that it was aware of reports of civilian casualties and that the circumstances of the attack were being verified.
Other attacks during the same day were also reported in Beit Lahia, Az-Zawayda, Al-Sawarha, Gaza City and Khan Younis, bringing the total number of casualties to at least 14. According to Al Jazeera, despite the ceasefire announced in October 2025, Israeli attacks on Gaza have continued almost daily.
