FIFA has released the best lineup for the 2026 World Cup, selected through fan votes, with world champion Spain being the team with the most representatives.
The 11 includes three "La Roja" players: Pedro Porro, Marc Cucurella and Rodri, who were among the protagonists of Spain's triumph in the World Cup.
However, the choice that has sparked the most discussion is that of goalkeeper. Although Unai Simon was declared the winner of the Golden Glove award and Spain conceded only one goal throughout the tournament, fans voted Cape Verdean Vozinha as the best goalkeeper.
The African goalkeeper collected almost 40 percent of the votes, leaving behind the goalkeeper of the world champions.
Another notable absence is that of England captain Harry Kane, who failed to secure a place in the starting line-up despite his performances during the tournament.
In the attacking department, fans chose three of the biggest names in world football. Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi each won over 20 percent of the vote, with the French striker coming out on top.
