Dramatic situation with floods in the country. Durrës and its surroundings continue to be under the power of water. Residents are seeking the intervention of institutions, as according to them the situation remains problematic, especially in the peripheral areas. From preliminary reports, about 10 families from the administrative units of Rrashbull and Manzë have been affected, as the large water flows have flooded their homes. These families are currently accommodated near the Convalescent Home.
The floods have also affected the Durrës prison. Because the cells on the first floor have become uninhabitable, the detainees have been moved to the second floor.
In Fushë-Krujë, the Ishëm River has overflowed its banks, flooding dozens of hectares of agricultural land. In Shkodër, 15 homes are under water and the situation remains worrying. As a result of heavy rainfall, the Glina stream in Vau e Dejës has overflowed its banks.
For more than two hours, the Laç-Milot road was blocked due to the malfunctioning of the drainage channels. As a result, vehicle traffic was paralyzed, creating long queues.
The rains have also caused problems on the Arbri Road. Landslides have been recorded on the Xibri segment, from the Murriz tunnel to tunnel number two in the village of Shkalla.
