Only 314 people, out of a total of 2,329 re-registrations in driving schools due to the removal of driving license points, managed to regain their license in the period June 2022 - June 2025.
According to data published by the General Directorate of Road Transport Services (GDRTRS), only 13.4% of people who re-registered at a driving school after losing points on their license managed to regain their driving license.
"Those who have successfully passed the tests have returned to the road as drivers, this time more conscientious and responsible," emphasizes the DPSHTRR.
In the most recent testing session, out of 42 re-registrations, 25 candidates appeared, but only 10 of them were successful in the theoretical and practical tests.
The DPSHTRR underlines that serious and repeat violators of traffic rules, who endanger road safety, must re-register from scratch at the driving school and undergo the full testing process, according to the new legal acts in force.
