Florina Cani, the mother of Martin, the minor who was stabbed to death by his peer a year ago in Tirana, has reacted in shock after the news that the 15-year-old who was stabbed in Durrës has passed away today.
In a reaction to Top Channel, Florina criticizes the institutions that should react and take measures. These events, she says, are an alarm for the entire society.
"My soul is shaken again. I have written about Erjon many times; I want to be the voice of our children, but the truth is painful. Why don't the institutions react? The school should be a place of safety, not war. Martini, Eraldo, Erjoni.
"Children's names that should never have been part of the news of violence are wounds to our hearts and an alarm for the entire society. I ask for protection for our children. Do not touch our children, do not take our children. Wake up! Take action, stop the violence. Our children have the right to live," the message reads.
The minor Erion Boba, who was seriously injured by his peer in Durrës on November 25, passed away today. He could not win the battle, although doctors did their best and the 15-year-old himself fought hard for his life.
