During the last 24 hours, 18 fires have been identified in the country, of which 11 have been extinguished, while 7 fires still remain active.
In the Vlora Region, in the village of Navaricë of the Dhivër administrative unit in the Finiq municipality, the situation remains problematic due to the wind. The forces on the ground are receiving support from the Air Force helicopter and the Croatian Canadair aircraft, to prevent the spread of the flames.
In Fier County, in the village of Lofkënd of the Qendër Dukas unit in the Mallakastër municipality, most of the fire has been isolated thanks to air intervention and the work of forces on the ground, but the fire continues in the southern and northwestern parts. 25 members of the Armed Forces and municipal structures are engaged in the field.
In Lezha County, in the village of Malaj Epërm, Mirditë municipality, the fire is continuing in a forest area with pine, oak and dense vegetation in a difficult terrain for intervention with water jetting vehicles. 63 operational forces have been engaged in assistance, working mainly to create separation belts to stop the spread. Currently, there is no danger to residential areas.
In the Dibër District, in the place called "Mali i Allushit" in the village of Plani Bardhë in the municipality of Klos, the reactivated fire is being kept under control and does not pose a risk of spreading.
In the Elbasan Region, in the village of Lleshaj in the Poroçan unit in the Gramsh municipality, the fire is being monitored by the Forest Service to prevent reactivation.
In the Tirana Region, on Mount Bërzhita, Tirana municipality, the fire has been brought under control and is moving towards isolation, while forces continue to work on the final extinguishing.
Also, in Tepelena, between the villages of Turan and Dukaj, intensive work is being done to extinguish the fire.
Authorities and emergency forces continue their maximum commitment to controlling and completely extinguishing the fires to prevent further damage to nature and residential areas.
