In front of the Parliament building, activists and religious representatives organized a protest against the draft law on gender equality. The banners they held read: "There are only two genders, male and female."

Activist Akil Pano stated that if the bill passes, it will destroy the family and society, endangering the lives and rights of children.
"The family must be exalted. We will never allow the dignity of Albanians, the identity of children and the future of Albania to be trampled. If the bill passes, you are destroying the family and society, endangering the lives and rights of children," he said.
