The Albanian Coalition “Pro Family & Life” has announced that on November 6, at 09:30, it will hold a peaceful rally in front of the Albanian Parliament. The purpose of the protest is to support family values and oppose the draft law on Gender Equality.
In the public call, the organizers appeal to citizens to unite to "stand together for the family and children," considering the draft law a threat to traditional Albanian family values.
According to the coalition's announcement, the protest will be peaceful, but with the determination to make their position heard.
"The family is the foundation of society and any attempt to replace or relativize it must be stopped," the statement said.
The rally will take place on the same day when the Parliament is expected to review the draft law on "Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities".
