Just 27 days after its inauguration, the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis has been partially blocked as a result of a rock slide due to bad weather.
One of the three lanes of the road has become impassable, while the landslides and rockslides are still ongoing. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, while authorities are appealing to drivers to be careful when driving.
The contractor is on site cleaning inert materials, on an axis that was built over 14 years and cost around 260 million euros.
