The Central Election Commission has published the turnout until 18:00 in the 5 Municipalities where voting took place for the partial local elections today, November 9.
According to incomplete reports from all polling stations, a total of 18.72% of voters in these municipalities voted (there are over 330 thousand voters).
The low turnout and the record is held by Vlora, while information is also expected from centers that have not yet sent information. Vlora has a figure of 12.54%, followed by Berat with 19.98%. Next comes Cerrik with 25% and Tepelena with 34.63%. The highest turnout was in the Municipality of Mati, with 39.36% by 6:00 PM.
Very low reporting from polling stations, where on average it is estimated that at least 30% of them in all five municipalities did not provide information.
In Vlora, at least 30 centers have not yet reported, 20 in Berat, 10 in Cërrik, 8 in Tepelena and at least 13 in Mat.
Voting centers close at 6:00 PM, except in cases where there is a queue of voters, where in cooperation with the CEC, the hours are extended until the last voter is waiting.
