Following the Constitutional Court's decision not to hold elections in Tirana, a group of Erion Veliaj's supporters have not hidden their enthusiasm on social media. Among them is actress Olta Gixhari, who published an Instagram story with an emotional message for the suspended mayor.
"Only when we lose someone do we realize how much they mattered! We know, we love people more in their absence. Not everything bad comes from bad luck Lali, Tirana stinks and is in chaos, I hope you return as soon as possible to the place you belong and deserve," Gixhari writes in her post, accompanied by a photo of Veliaj.
Apparently, the actress did not understand that the Constitutional Court's decision is not related to the investigation or trial of Veliaj, but to the Prime Minister's decree calling elections in Tirana. However, this did not prevent her from expressing optimism that his return to the leadership of the Municipality will restore to Tirana the prosperity, cleanliness and order that, according to her, the city lacks today. Perhaps the rest of the capital's residents do not have such a good memory for cleanliness in Tirana, and Gixhari used this opportunity to remind them of how beautiful Tirana was with Veliaj.
