United States President Donald Trump stated that Albania and Kosovo have pledged to deploy military troops to the Gaza Strip, as part of a new international initiative called the "Peace Board".
During the first meeting of this board, Trump announced that, in addition to Albania and Kosovo, Kazakhstan has also expressed its readiness to contribute troops to stabilize the situation in Gaza. According to him, some of the participating countries have also offered training to the Palestinian police forces.
"Albania, Kosovo, Kazakhstan - they've all pledged troops to stabilize Gaza. They've offered training for the Palestinian police force. Without thinking, we have peace in the Middle East. It was unimaginable before. We all have a vision to end extremism and terror," the US president said.
He added that Iran cannot continue to threaten the stability of the Middle East region, emphasizing that the "Peace Board" aims to bring less rhetoric and more concrete action on the ground.
Trump also announced that the United States would contribute $10 billion to this initiative, describing it as an important step towards the long-term stabilization of the region.
“The Peace Board has proven that it implements solutions. We have managed to come up with solutions. Less talk and more action. The best future can be built starting from here. The US will contribute $10 billion to the Peace Board,” he declared.
