SPAK has not approved the request of the Tirana Municipal Council, which requested that Erion Veliaj be physically present at its meetings.
The Municipal Council sent an official request to SPAK for Veliaj to participate in the budget meeting.
Veliaj has been in detention since February of this year, and was only released from his cell on the day he attended the session at the Constitutional Court, which made the decision to restore him to the position of mayor of Tirana.
