The Democratic Party parliamentary group decided to protest in an unusual way against Prime Minister Edi Rama during the session on next year's budget. When Rama took the floor, several opposition MPs stood up and turned their backs on the head of government.
However, the reaction was not uniform. Greta Bardeli remained motionless in her chair, facing the Prime Minister, while Jozefina Topalli moved only slightly, without turning her back. Later, both deputies left the Assembly hall, indicating that not everyone in the parliamentary group agreed with this form of protest.
