After receiving the decree from the President for the fourth mandate government, Prime Minister Rama held his first press conference, where he also introduced the new Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu. Facing the heads of the institutions under this ministry, Rama did not spare criticism of some of them for failures in certain areas, as if he had not been Prime Minister himself for 12 years.
One of the criticisms was also that of the State Police, which is also responsible for controlling the territory and illegal construction. He ironized the absurd situations where ordinary citizens, even the elderly, have been punished for minimal construction, while large builders like the one who built the "Eye of Tirana" palace have operated for years without hindrance.
"A 90-something year-old man ended up in the prosecutor's office and court as an illegal builder for a renovation across Dajti. Meanwhile, in the middle of Tirana, the Eye of Tirana has 4 or 5 floors without a permit," said Rama.
But the irony of the prime minister is the next hypocrisy for the next propaganda. The "Eye of Tirana" in the middle of the capital is so high that even if it did not catch the eyes of the police, it would have been pointed out by the prime minister for the floors without a permit, since he is the one who signed the permit for its construction. That would have been enough for the institutions to go to the building to call the builders to account from the first floor without a permit, and not after he built 7 more without a construction permit.
But it seems Rama has waited for his fourth term and appointed a woman minister who will be remembered for criticism. The hypocrisy is also evident in the comparison he makes with ordinary citizens who are being persecuted by the police for a repair behind Dajti, when in fact this is the standard he set back in 2013.
However, Rama also spoke about the Police Supervision Agency, where he did not forget to attack the former director of the Vlora Police Department, Glodian Ahmetaj, whom he said builds a house without a permit, is a forger and an ignorant director. We recall that in the case of the latter, the prime minister also "sacrificed" the judge of the First Instance Administrative Court, Marko Boshku, on Facebook, for ruling in favor of Glodian Ahmetaj.
