In a reaction on the social network "X", Rama demanded that justice be served for the police officers who were injured during the protest, as well as punishment for the people who threw pyrotechnic items at the security forces. The Prime Minister described these devices as "weapons with lethal capacity."
In his reaction, Rama accused the opposition of using violence, stressing that according to him this is an unprecedented case in the democratic world. He compared the situation to historical precedents, also mentioning Robert Mugabe's regime in Zimbabwe.
The head of government expressed his expectation that justice will act without hesitation against those responsible for the use of pyrotechnic devices against the police.
Regarding the political situation, Rama stated that the clashes will be resolved in next year's elections, while emphasizing that the government will continue, according to him, the path towards Albania's integration into the European Union by 2030.
"As for the political fate of this new cycle of expulsions on the boulevard, it will be written as usual in next year's elections with an even more exemplary defeat than the previous ones, while we will continue unabated on the path towards Albania 2030 in the European Union," Rama writes.
