The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, went to the QSUT to visit the DP MP, Bledion Nallbati, who was injured during clashes in front of the Parliament and was accompanied for medical treatment.
After meeting with doctors, Berisha provided details about the MP's health condition, emphasizing that he has suffered a hematoma and will be kept under observation.
"There is a hematoma and, according to protocol, he will remain under observation for a while to see if there are any other consequences from the stroke," Berisha said.
At the same time, the DP leader issued strong accusations against police leaders, mentioning the name of Sokol Bizhga as the one who ordered the violent intervention.
"According to the information we have, the order-givers are the notorious criminal Sokol Bizhga, one of the most well-known criminals in uniform in the Republic of Albania. I guarantee Sokol Bizhga that he will be held responsible until the last days of his life," he declared.
Berisha also claimed that the injury to News 24 cameraman Aldo Kashri did not come from the protesters' Molotov cocktails, but from the actions of the security forces.
According to him, this proves that the police have acted irresponsibly and violently towards the media and protesters.
