The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called on citizens to join the national protest that will be held today in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
In his statement to the media, Berisha did not reveal many details about the scenario of what is expected to happen, while reiterating that it will be a powerful peaceful uprising.
"The protest scenario is the scenario of a powerful peaceful uprising, which will be followed today more than ever in the homes of all Albanians, but also in Brussels, the USA and other major centers. Today's scenario develops after the failure of the first phase of the coup and after the initiation of the next phase by Edi Rama," said Berisha.
He accused the head of government of harming the integration of Albania and that the only hope of citizens, according to him, was the opposition.
Meanwhile, he announced that there will soon be protests in front of Albanian diplomatic missions around the world.
