The landslide on the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis, which isolated the southeast of the country for 11 days, seems to have seriously damaged the government's propaganda. To slightly correct the image and put the problem into perspective, Prime Minister Edi Rama appeared today in the place called "Arra e Gurrës". He said that the landslides were caused by the weather and not by the construction being carried out on Corridor VIII or erosion in the riverbed.
The Prime Minister, who this time had left the helicopter in Tirana and arrived by car, spoke like an engineer, saying that the rumor that the road collapsed due to construction work is a great manipulation and perversion.
"The collapse of the road due to construction work is a great manipulation and perversity, because here we are on the old axis; the new axis has not been built yet. The one over there is a landslide caused by the geological factor loaded by the rains," said Rama.
The Prime Minister then cried and expressed his grief, saying that he is forced to listen to the noise of those who curse the government for a job that, according to him, "man has no power to cause due to incompetence."
However, in his meteorological-geological analysis, Rama did not provide an explanation as to why the weather caused landslides precisely now, when work is being carried out for Corridor VIII, and not in previous years when there was no work in the area.
