The political leader of the Socialist Party in the Vlora region, Bledi Çuçi, held a meeting with the leadership of the socialist councilors in the city on Friday. The meeting focused on the selection of the candidate who will run in the local by-elections, which followed the resignation of former mayor Ermal Dredha.
Sources from the meeting indicate that the most talked about name to take over the leadership of the municipality is that of Elis Halili, currently the deputy mayor of the Municipality of Vlora. The socialist councilors are expected to propose him as the official candidacy in the upcoming race.
