The Democratic Party of Albania has issued a statement declaring the Tehran regime's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization and calling the Ayatollahs' regime the main sponsor of terrorism in the world.
In the statement, the Democratic Party condemns Tehran's attacks on the Persian Gulf countries - Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain - and expresses full solidarity with these countries. The Democrats also declare support for US and Israeli efforts to overthrow the theocratic regime of the Ayatollahs.
But the statement also has a dose of political irony. The Democratic Party did not participate in today's session of the Parliament, where the resolution on Iran and the declaration of the IRGC as a terrorist organization was voted on.
So, while the formal decision was being made in Parliament, the DP chose to make its announcement… in the courtyard of the Shqup.
