After a three-week break, Prime Minister Edi Rama returned to his office in the Prime Minister's Office this Monday. He was photographed entering the building this morning.
Media sources indicate that today the head of government held a meeting with several ministers and deputies of the Socialist Party, while the new government cabinet is expected to be made public in the coming days. The Socialist Party is also expected to convene the National Assembly to discuss the changes and political priorities of the new season.
In parallel with the official meetings, in a post on the social network Facebook, Edi Rama published images of demolitions with a bulldozer, immediately returning the Prime Minister's attention to the process of demolishing illegal constructions in the country's territory.
Rama writes that this is not a temporary action, but an unstoppable process that will continue with determination until this phenomenon is eliminated.
"This is not an action, but a process that will not stop until this phenomenon disappears. In the coming days, we will present a new package of measures that will strengthen the legal crackdown on the guilty and responsible persons at every level - including those who have turned a blind eye in the inspectorates, police or other institutions," Rama emphasized.
The latest images from Cape Rodoni, in the territory of the Municipality of Durrës, show the start of the demolition of illegal constructions that have abused one of the country's natural wonders for profit. This operation is part of a wider campaign aimed at liberating protected areas and stopping their usurpation by private interests.
