Prime Minister Edi Rama, on the show "Opinion", showed another way that will contribute to cleaning Albania from waste. He said that one of the measures the government is taking is to install cameras in cities and they will record which citizens throw garbage on the ground.
"We also have new medicines for this. The new medicines are that during the mandate that starts in a few days we will start implementing them, because we have prepared them and will start implementing the project of smart cities and road monitoring with cameras. To see who throws away the waste with cameras", said Rama.
The Prime Minister even went further, saying that cameras will also be installed in schools. According to him, these will serve to prevent children from cheating in exams.
"And in the city we will see everything. We will also see who throws trash, we will also see who participates in class and who does not participate in class. We will also see who cheats in exams and who does not cheat in exams, right down to the classroom. So that parents can see the child and when the children fight or when there is a problem, or when the teacher says I caught them cheating, show them where your child is," the prime minister continued.
So, in short, patronage will now also include cameras to track citizens when they throw away their waste, and in this way Albania will be cleaner. We recall that this is the next reform that the government is considering to change strategy, since the one with satellites that would catch citizens throwing away their waste or building without permission has not worked.
