The Municipal Police and the IMT must be reformed. The statement came from Prime Minister Edi Rama during the presentation of the "Tourist Albania 2030" package. During his speech, Rama emphasized that these inspectorates have become a hotbed for illegal construction and exploitation of spaces.
"Anyone who wants to put a chair outside must contribute with a tree. The history of illegal construction also brings the need for a reform of the police inspectorate, which must be reformed, turned into municipal services with standards and criteria certified by the Security Academy. Because places have become terrible places and it is unimaginable to continue like this. And the whole effort "embroidering the dress of Albania" will continue by improving the infrastructural aspect. I hope that the democratic Kavaja will join us in this effort, which I hope will stop the further development of palaces instead of pine trees.
Dhërmi no longer needs to have subjects coming from other countries who drive the world crazy with music and dump sewage into the sea. The mayor of Himara has set an example with the municipality's registered tents and a clean service, without fuss, but without any stress.
Beaches like Durrës, Shëngjin or Velipoja are large, they cannot be 100% administered by the municipality, but they must continue with best practices, responding to what the citizen pays.
You can't set exorbitant prices for a sunbed just because you're in Ksamil, in a natural paradise, when you have no contribution to the quality of the sea, the beauty of nature. Not to offer a sunbed where you risk being penetrated by a rusty nail.
The Municipality of Lezha has played a key role in cleanliness, having doubled its cleaning forces through the Clean Beaches operation. The beach should be at your disposal, not the usurpers. Municipalities should seriously consider that in the part free to the public there cannot be only sand, but there should be a service, like the one offered by Himara.
