While a decision is expected to be made on Thursday on SPAK's request to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity, the Socialist Party has made public the agenda of the parliamentary group meeting that will take place at the Brigades Palace in Tirana.
According to the official document, the meeting will begin at 11:00 with the formal opening and speech by the Prime Minister and at the same time the Chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania, Edi Rama.
The agenda includes consecutive reports from members of the government cabinet, with discussions limited to no more than two minutes for each speaker.
The following will report:
• Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj
• Minister of State and Chief Negotiator, Majlinda Dhuka
• Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj
• Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Adea Pirdeni
• Minister of Internal Affairs, Albana Koçiu
• Minister of Defense, Piro Vengu
• Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Evis Sala
• Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro
• Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo
• Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari
The meeting will close with a speech by the chairman of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla.
The published agenda does not foresee any words or reports from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, right on the eve of the decision on her immunity.
Its absence from the agenda comes at a politically delicate moment, when the majority is expected to determine its stance on the request of the Special Prosecution Office.
