An official document of the Republic of Albania, sent to the White House and related to an agreement within the framework of the Peace Board Charter, has attracted attention not for its diplomatic content, but for starting with a spelling error in the title.
The document, signed by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, is titled "RATIFICATION INSTRUMENT", leaving out an essential "I" in the word RATIFICATION.
The document mentions the ratification of the agreement accepted by the Republic of Albania, represented by the Prime Minister in the Charter of the Peace Board, and declares the commitment to its implementation. But while the content aims for diplomatic seriousness, the title has produced more smiles than solemnity.
It remains unclear whether this is a mistake made out of the emotions of an important international act or simply due to carelessness in correcting the document.
