British MP Nigel Farage has once again provoked Prime Minister Edi Rama, this time stating that he will meet with the head of the Albanian government for lunch, where the main topic will be the deportation of foreign criminals, an issue that he describes as a threat to the national security of the United Kingdom.
"We will deport foreign criminals. I'm going to have lunch in a few weeks with the prime minister of Albania. I may book a very large plane and take a load with me, I'm not sure yet. We will stop what is a threat to our national security, what is a danger to girls and women on our streets. We will stop the ships and we will stop and deport those who enter our country illegally, doing what almost every normal country in the whole world does," Farage said during a meeting with members of the Reform UK party.
His statement comes at a tense moment in British politics, following the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner. Farage has warned of the possibility of a snap election, stressing that his immigration plan would be implemented immediately after an election victory.
“You can't come illegally and stay, we will stop the boats within two weeks of victory,” Farage said.
He has also stressed that a Reform UK-led government will take immediate action to stop illegal boat crossings and deport migrants who enter the country illegally.
We recall that the clash between Farage and the Albanian Prime Minister began after the British politician's statements on the high number of Albanians imprisoned in the United Kingdom. Rama reacted harshly, describing Farage's comments as "untrue and offensive."
