 
The US Department of State has shared details about the meeting between the head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Altin Dumani, and the senior US official for European and Eurasian Affairs, Brendan Hanrahan.
According to Top Channel, Dumani and Hanrahan discussed the common goals of stopping drug trafficking, organized crime and irregular migration. They also discussed areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
"The United States is working with Albania towards our shared goals of interdicting drug trafficking, organized crime, and irregular migration. Senior Department officials met with the Head of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), Dumani, to discuss areas of mutually beneficial cooperation," the State Department response states.
The meeting was held for three days behind closed doors without the presence of journalists.
