The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the former MP, Ervin Salianji, continued their clashes at a distance today. The reason was Berisha's statement today, which reiterated that Salianji is self-excluded and that he is "self-adopted" by the government. The leader of the Democratic Party also revealed an episode from a conversation with the former MP, who, according to him, had asked him for his opinion regarding a request made to him by the authorities to sign a statement not to "kill" Fatmir Xhafa.
In this context, Berisha stated that he had advised him not to sign such a document, while hinting that Salianji is trapped by this agreement.
"He tells me, 'I still have three months left in prison. To get out, I have to get out according to the law, but I'm asked to sign a statement guaranteeing that I won't 'kill' Fatmir Xhafa. Who asks for it? The court asks me to sign it and the prison directorate.' I tell him that 'you are a political prisoner and have nothing to do with Xhafa'. I tell him: 'Since you are asking me, I advise you not to make such a statement, because you will be blamed in this.' Saying that I do not intend to 'kill' Fatmir Xhafa means that Fatmir Xhafa imprisoned you because you threatened him. This is the truth. But my advice, I told him, is not to sign it, because it incriminates you, because you are young and have a career ahead of you. He left, he came, he came. What did they do with him? 'No', he said, 'they did not ask me'... now read the rest yourself", said the leader of the DP.
Ervin Salianji also reacted immediately, stating that Berisha's subconscious is speaking and that he is worried that Rama will be "killed" with votes. The former DP MP calls the murder accusations slanderous and therefore calls on SPAK to launch an investigation, while stating that it is known who is behind them.
"As for the worry he has about 'killing' Xhafa, his subconscious tells him that he is worried about 'killing' Rama with votes. The man has time to be ashamed his whole life, but to fall to this level is unimaginable and inevitable, as not even his fiercest opponents wish! Slanders like this show how great his fear and despair are. The accusations of murder are known to be on his back, as is the murderous mentality, because someone who listens to these conversations and does not denounce them, speaks for himself. Since he is supporting SPAK during this period, I am ready and call on SPAK to launch an investigation for attempted murder or failure to report a crime," he writes.
Salianji further states that, in the absence of votes, Berisha invents labels and, in the absence of competition, declares himself “self-excluded.” According to him, the irony is that the one who talks about democracy is the first to be afraid of it.
