In a moment he called “historic,” Sali Berisha hosted a fact-finding mission at the DP headquarters with representatives of 28 sister parties of the European People’s Party (EPP). According to him, they came at a time when “Edi Rama has destroyed justice and is protecting Lubina,” by not bringing her to justice.
Berisha stated that he presented the "Black Book of Elections" to the delegation, a 1,500-page dossier with thousands of documents, which according to him documents electoral problems, the "narco-state" and the destruction of the justice system. He spoke of a detailed exposition on the political and electoral situation in the country.
But when it came to the concrete details of the meeting, the curtain was drawn. According to Berisha, the discussions were held on the basis of the Chatham House confidentiality rule, so he will not make their content public.
The EPP delegation entered and left the DP headquarters without any statement to the media, accompanied by Jorida Tabaku. No public reaction, no official stance, no sentence about the "Black Book".
The irony becomes even more pronounced if we consider that it has been a long time since ambassadors of EU countries or official state delegations have been seen at that headquarters.
Many words inside. Zero words outside. And a "Black Book" presented... without any comments from those who heard it.
