The Constitutional Court has officially announced the postponement of the hearing of the lawsuit filed by the Prime Minister, regarding the suspension from office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, a decision previously taken by the Constitutional Court.
In the official announcement, the Court announces that the new date was set "following previous announcements on the case with the applicant, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania."
According to the Constitutional Court, the Assembly of Judges will conduct a preliminary hearing on the case on December 12, 2025.
The postponement was decided due to the complexity of the case, the volume of accompanying materials, the Court's busy agenda, as well as the request of some of the members of the Assembly of Judges.
