Minister Diella, known more as a media sensation than for any concrete work, appeared "live" in Athens today for the National Day of Albania. Of course, everything is normal up to this point, since Diella is a computer that only appears on the monitor.
The real surprise is the seriousness that the majority attaches to Diella. Socialist MP Taulant Balla announced that the minister will meet with Greek counterparts and senior officials.
"Together with Minister Diella tonight in Athens, on the National Day of Albania to meet with Greek government ministers, MPs, ambassadors and many Albanian sisters and brothers living in Greece," Balla writes.
It is unclear how Diella will conduct these meetings with her Greek counterparts? Greece has not announced any virtual ministers for Diella to have a virtual counterpart. But even if her counterpart is a real person, it remains unclear how a computer will communicate with a human minister? How does Diella know what she will discuss with the Greek MPs, ambassadors and ministers?!
Only if Balla has prepared everything, the agenda, the speeches and the gestures he will make, and at every meeting he will turn the Sun on and off to make these meetings happen.
So, it seems that Albanian diplomacy has found the most modern way to make agreements, one click and the "minister" is ready.
