While the political situation in Albania is being described as one of the deepest crises of the government, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has announced his trip to Brazil together with MPs Albana Vokshi and Belind Këlliçi. The DP delegation is participating in the General Assembly of the CDI, which is taking place in Sao Paolo for the last two days.
Berisha said that discussions with leaders of international political forces and his remarks at plenary sessions will focus on the dramatic situation in Albania — the spread of drugs, corruption and the decline of the rule of law. He stressed that he aims to further raise the international community's awareness of the serious developments in the country.
