The clash with Ervin Salianji seems to be at the top of the political agenda for the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who did not spare accusations against him even in today's appearance. In an online conversation with citizens, Berisha said that Salianji protects private interests and has substantiated this with documents.
The DP leader did not forget to repeat to the former DP MP Article 24 of the statute, which according to him justifies Salijanj's expulsion. Although the statute stipulates that in order to make such a decision, the relevant forums must convene, including the branch leadership.
"Salianji, respond to a man who has excluded himself from the Democratic Party. So I guarantee you that he only has private interests, strictly private, documented. The membership has also been told that this gentleman has excluded himself from the Democratic Party. We have an article, article 24 of the statute; when you are caught in flagrant violation of it and they then force you to walk up and down, that is your private activity. It has nothing to do with the DP," said Berisha.
The leader of the Democrat Party also spoke about the opposition's positions regarding electoral and territorial reforms. Berisha said that Prime Minister Rama's calls for cooperation in these two reforms are an illusion, as according to him, the Prime Minister does not accept anything that threatens his power.
