The United States Embassy in Tirana has distributed the statement of US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, in which he expresses concern about the state of freedom of speech in Europe.
In his response, Rubio emphasizes that freedom and freedom of expression are among the fundamental values on which alliances between the United States and European partners are built. According to him, these principles constitute the basis of transatlantic cooperation and relations.
"Our alliances with our European partners are built on our shared principles, our shared values... One of these values and principles, we hope, is freedom and freedom of expression," Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement.
