The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has once again used the minors who were arrested during last night's protest to denounce police violence. In today's statement to the media, instead of apologizing for their use in clashes with the police, Berisha chose to mention their names publicly, calling them the pride of the nation.
"I want to tell these young people that they are the pride of the entire nation. They are the pride of the Albanian nation. They start their political life in a battle with the evil of their nation," said Berisha.
In fact, reading the names of minors live in the media is a violation of law and ethics, let alone treating them as heroes by inviting them to rallies to clash with the police. However, we have already learned that Berisha will not care about law and ethics when it comes to actions in his own interest.
The DP leader did not hesitate to deceive by saying that there were no injured police officers in the hospital and based this on the visit he made to "Trauma". According to Berisha, the hospital staff informed him that "5 police officers had been sent there without any problems and they had no concerns. They left as they had arrived".
Contrary to what the leader of the democrats claims, in the protest, as well as injured citizens, there were also police officers who were injured. But Berisha chooses to lie publicly, without the slightest solidarity with the officers, who at the end of the day are also people who carry out the duty assigned to them.
