Democratic Party MP Arjan Ndoja seems to have reservations about his Democratic colleagues' behavior in parliamentary sessions. Yesterday, after the end of voting in the Assembly, Arjan Ndoja spoke for the first time from the podium, where he criticized the clashes between the parties that have led to the inability to discuss in parliament, while not sparing Democratic MPs either.
Ndoja said that he himself will never fall on the tables and that he does not come with a script to direct the parliament, because he does not have such a formation. The Democrat MP also had a request for the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, whom he asked not to label the entire DP group, because according to him, the majority want the session to take place and those who come from the open lists do not come with their heads down to make directed actions.
"I appeal to you once again: you have not seen me knocking on tables and you will never see me knocking on tables. Because I do not have that education, I do not have that training. But on the other hand, I appeal to you in a friendly way, Mr. Balla, do not label the entire parliamentary group, because it is not polite. A part of the DP parliamentary group, which is the largest part, wants a parliamentary session to be held and they want to speak. Especially since, let me tell you, a part of us – at least six of us – are not even products of closed lists to come here with our heads down and do things in a controlled manner," he said.
Clearly, MP Ndoja's message was more for his Democratic colleagues, who blocked and then requested a new session with a debate on the government's program. It remains to be seen whether MP Ndoja's stance will be just yesterday's or will be followed by a clearer strategy of distancing himself from the way the DP parliamentary group and Sali Berisha have chosen to approach debates in the plenary sessions of the Assembly.
