Gun murder in Saranda, 42-year-old executed, perpetrators suspected of riding motorbikes and wearing spacesuits
A gunshot wound shook Saranda in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident occurred in the area known as "Agjencia e Vjetër", where a 42-year-old man was shot.
The victim has been identified as Artan Myrtaj, 42. According to preliminary data, he was shot by two people, who were suspected of riding a motorcycle and wearing diving suits, which made their identification difficult.
A passerby was reportedly injured in the shooting and was sent for medical attention.
After the incident, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the crime scene, while checkpoints were set up and work is underway to identify and capture the perpetrators.
Police are administering evidence at the scene and verifying security cameras in the area, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances and identify the perpetrators.
