Hysni Patushi, 68 years old, suspected of the murder of his wife, Lumturie Patushi, has been arrested by the Police in Kamëz, after several hours of searching.
The serious incident occurred this morning on "Panorama" street in Tirana, following a conflict in the apartment. According to the Police, the 68-year-old is suspected of having attacked his wife, 58-year-old Lumturie Patushi, with a cutting instrument, who lost her life as a result of the injuries she sustained.
At the time of the incident, the couple's 14-year-old nephew was also in the apartment, who is suspected of having seen the scene and alerted the residents of the area and the Police. Meanwhile, according to preliminary data, Hysni Patushi is suspected of having been intoxicated at the time of the incident.
After leaving the scene, the 68-year-old was located by the Police services in Kamëz, where he was placed in handcuffs.
The investigation team continues to work to fully document the circumstances of the incident.
