After a several-month investigation, the Criminal Investigation and Prevention Service (SHKBB) discovered the mechanism for introducing narcotics into the Elbasan Penitentiary and arrested three suspects.
This concerns citizens Ndriçim Kroi, a police officer at the Elbasan Penitentiary Institution,
Esmeralda Komici, family member of a detainee,
Gerald Stamolla, detained.
"The investigation, conducted using special methods, revealed a collaboration scheme to introduce narcotics into the institution for the purpose of financial gain," the Anti-Drug Enforcement Agency (ADEA) announced.
