The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has announced that it has filed an appeal with the Special Court of Appeal regarding the property proceedings related to the seizure of the assets of citizen Nikolla Hafësllari and the person associated with him, Erjol Mekshi.
According to SPAK, citizen Hafësllari is accused of the criminal offense of "Exercising illegal influence over persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration, as provided for by articles 245/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
The Special Prosecution's appeal was filed against decision no. 18, dated 24.10.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance. After reviewing the case, the Special Court of Appeal, with decision no. 262 dated 2.12.2025, decided to amend the previous decision and accept the request of SPAK for the seizure of the assets of the persons under investigation.
The seized assets include:
Garage no. 6, floor -1, “Pjetër Bogdani” street, Mëzez, Tirana
Garage no. 7, floor -1, also at the same address
Vehicle of the brand “Audi”, model A6, year of manufacture 2005
Apartment no. 19/1, staircase 2, floor III, with an area of 87.89 m², “Pjetër Bogdani” street, Mëzez, Tirana
Apartment no. 21, staircase 2, floor III, with an area of 61.89 m², also at the same address
The Judicial Police officers and representatives of the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) have been charged with the execution of the decision. The administration and use of the seized assets will be carried out by the administrators of this agency.
