Elbasan police arrest Nevzat Spaho, suspected of being an accomplice in the execution of businessman Mondi Mëhalla alias Edmond Hyka in Elbasan.
"Following the operational actions carried out on the basis and on behalf of the intensive investigations being carried out to legally document the authorship and circumstances of the murder committed on 30.11.2025, in the outdoor environment of a gas station in the 'Emin Matraxhiu' neighborhood, the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes executed the prosecutor's order to detain the citizen:
– NS, 29 years old, resident of Prrenjas, for the criminal offenses of 'Premeditated Murder', committed in collaboration, and 'Unlicensed Production and Possession of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition'.”
The verifications revealed that this citizen had criminal records for attempted murder, illegal possession of weapons, coercion through threats/violence for the release of property, as well as theft.
Meanwhile, investigations suspect that he was involved in the incident of 30.11.2025, where citizen MM alias EH was shot dead.
The arrested man has a significant criminal record, while the victim's former partner and the gas station guard were previously arrested, and two other people were declared wanted for the murder of Mondi Mëhalla.
