The hearing against the defendants in the well-known 5D file at the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime has been postponed, as the former director of the municipality, Redi Molla, and his lawyers were not present.
Redi Molla is under "house arrest" due to his health condition. One of the lawyers was absent due to a family member's health problems, while the other lawyer had informed the court that he could not appear for personal health reasons.
The next hearing on this matter is scheduled for December 10.
Redi Molla is being investigated for the 5D file, which led to the arrest of several leaders in the Municipality of Tirana. He is accused of passive corruption, money laundering and failure to declare assets.
